Anna's beach theme purse is finally done and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results!   I just talked to her today and she is so pleased with it that she will mount it in a shadow box behind one of her extraordinary sunset photos that she takes  and of course hang it on the living room wall for all to see!  Sunny days here but cold, love sitting in my living room with the light pouring in to work on my projects.  Hope everyone is working on something fun, stretching their imagination and rewarding themselves with a trip to the craft store or a treat that gives you pleasure for having finished something you slaved so long and hard over.  

hello from beautiful Northern Lights filled Juneau, Alaska!   I am making great progress on Anna's purse and am quite pleased. note the beach fence is in with flowers and grasses.  i have the back fabric all cut out and the lining too.  I sewed my monogram and year on the inside of the lining with my sewing machine in a beautiful script font.  I never used to sign my work but learned that my computerized sewing machine does such a perfect job that my work will forever be signed now.  An artist should sign their work right?  yep, I thought so.  This weekend I hope to sew all the parts together ie the back and the linings and then on to sewing

Hello fellow artists and ultra creative people from warm foggy Juneau, Alaska!  We are have spring this winter so if you live down south and are freezing your backside off come on up!  It's been in the 40's all week!  Still my mindset is Winter and my pellet stove is keeping the house warm so I am of course working on sewing projects and thought I would post a "progress" album of what I have done so far.  i have pulled my fabrics and found the perfect frame which reminds me of a seashell.  I also found inspiration on my other favorite site Pinterest of a beach scene that matched pretty much the vision in my head.  So today I cut and laid out
